Neal grew up in a family that owned and operated an interior design business. He installed his first vertical blind when he was only 9 years old. Neal graduated high school and got his business license the following year, while still attending junior college. From his teens and into the early 2000’s, as the trends changed, Neal took on learning everything there was to learn about blinds, shades, shutters, valences, curtains and drapes, becoming an expert in his field.
Now with home automation systems interfacing and controlling window coverings, The Shade Shoppe also carries the latest in motorization technology: Lutron QS Sivoia, QMotion, and Somfy Glydea.
